New Shimano Dura-Ace wheels are up to 220g lighter and gain replaceable bearing cups with improved waterproofing

Shimano Dura-Ace wheels.

Shimano has officially unveiled its new Dura-Ace wheel lineup that the WorldTour teams it sponsors have been racing as prototypes – something we spotted at Opening Weekend already. Mathieu van der Poel and his Alpecin-Premier Tech teammates have ridden the wheels in competition and training over the past year, including at the Tour de France, as part of Shimano's development process.

The new WH-RH9370 series is lighter by up to 220g per wheelset thanks to carbon spokes and produces as much as 2.7 watts less aerodynamic resistance than before, according to the Japanese brand.
