It’s been more than a year since Redfield‘s unveiling, meaning we’re due for some gameplay footage. Thankfully, Arkane Studios is delivering the goods at long last.
During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, Microsoft showed off a gameplay trailer for Redfall. The co-op first-person shooter from the folks that brought us Dishonored and Deathloop is rife with ambition, and going off of this showing; it’s ticking the right boxes. At least in how the cast is sporting magical abilities ripped straight out of Dunwall.
Check out the new Redfall gameplay trailer for yourself below. It’s kind of pulling from Destiny but with that trademark Arkane flair. By that, I mean there are sick-looking cloud powers.
Redfall gameplay reveal is finally here!
We couldn’t have done it without help from our partners at Roundhouse Studios and the patience and support of all our fans. Thank you all! 🖤 pic.twitter.com/LWrhXireNT— Arkane Studios (@ArkaneStudios) June 12, 2022
Redfall is coming out next year for Xbox Series X|S and PC while simultaneously launching day one on Game Pass. It, unfortunately, had a big delay recently, but hey, more time in the cooker is necessary every so often.
