New Polling Shows Potential Trouble For Biden In 2024 Rematch

Former U.S. President Donald Trump attends the Trump Organization civil fraud trial, in New York

New polling data on a potential Biden-Trump rematch in 2024 is raising concerns for the Biden campaign. A recent poll shows Trump leading by four points among likely voters, a stark contrast to four years ago when Biden was ahead by six points at the same stage. This shift in numbers indicates a challenging scenario for the incumbent President Biden.

Furthermore, the poll revealed that 42% of likely voters believe Trump's policies have helped them, while only 20% feel the same about Biden's policies. Additionally, 44% think Biden's policies have personally hurt them, compared to 27% for Trump. These findings suggest that not only are voters favoring Trump over Biden, but they also prefer Trump's policies over Biden's.

Looking at the GOP primary race, Trump is significantly ahead of Nikki Haley, leading by a wide margin of 76% to 21% nationally. Haley's support mainly comes from a small segment of Republican primary voters who previously voted for Joe Biden, indicating a tough road ahead for her in the primary.

With Super Tuesday approaching, delegate-rich states like California and Texas show Trump with commanding leads of 69% to 29% and 80% to 19%, respectively. These numbers suggest that Trump is poised to secure a substantial number of delegates, strengthening his position as the frontrunner for the Republican nomination.

In conclusion, the latest polling data paints a challenging picture for President Biden in a potential rematch against Trump in 2024. Trump's lead in both the general election polls and the GOP primary race indicates a strong position for him moving forward, with significant support from voters and a clear advantage in delegate-rich states.
