A man has been arrested in the ongoing Olivia Pratt-Korbel murder investigation.
Merseyside Police have confirmed they today (Friday, October 28) arrested a man in connection with the murder of the nine-year-old schoolgirl. The man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and was taken to a police station.
Detectives are now interviewing the man in custody. Nine-year-old Olivia was shot in her home in Dovecot, Liverpool, on Monday, August 22, when a gunman chased convicted burglar Joseph Nee into her home.

Thomas Cashman, 34, has already been charged with her murder and awaits a four week trial set of March 6 next year.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Officers involved in the investigation into the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel have today (Friday, 28 October) arrested a man on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has been taken to a police station where he will be interviewed by detectives."
