New multi-million pound Barcode Warehouse building in Newark opens as jobs created

The Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire has praised Barcode Warehouse for creating jobs in Nottinghamshire as the business opens third site in Newark. On Tuesday, June 13, the new multi-million pound offices and Innovation and Customer Experience Centre, Newton House, were officially opened after years of construction.

Barcode Warehouse was founded in Newark almost 40 years ago, and today they provide solutions and services to some of the biggest brands in the UK as a technological solutions integrator, including Android, Honeywell, Toshiba and Epson.

Lord-Lieutenant, Sir John Peace, officially opened the site during a ribbon cutting. He explained how he was reminded of the old saying "It's better to be travelling then have arrived" before going on to say that "Barcode is still travelling."
