Fashion brand Mango has opened at The Mall Cribbs Causeway today (Wednesday, May 10). Mango has been earmarked for a 10-year lease at the former Gap unit located between the Apple and Sky stores towards the centre of the shopping mall.
Gap announced in 2021 it would close 81 of its stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland by the end of September 2022. The Spanish retailer first launched in 1984 and has grown to be one of the leading fashion groups in the world, offering more than 18,000 garments and accessories for men and women across an extensive store network in 110 countries.
It will mark the fashion brand's second store in the Bristol area after the shop in Cabot Circus, located between &Other Stories and TAG Heuer on the ground floor of the shopping centre.

Last year Mango announced it had plans to open up a store at the South Gloucestershire shopping mall, but no date had been revealed for the official opening. But earlier today (Wednesday) The Mall Cribbs Causeway announced the store had officially opened on its Instagram.
The post said: "We’re very excited to announce that Mango is now open! You can find them on the upper level next to Apple. @mango"
