A new luxury wedding venue is set to open its doors in Wirral later this year.
The Manor at Greasby will launch this winter as a gastropub that can accommodate up to 160 diners. The site also boasts a lavish wedding barn for celebrations of up to 80 guests.
This will be the fifth venue in the portfolio of Nelson Hotels & Inns, who run a collection of family-run hotels, inns and restaurants across Cheshire. The hotel group's other properties include The Pheasant Inn at Burwardsley, The Fishpool Inn at Delamere, The Bear's Paw in Warmingham and the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa at Pulford just outside Chester.

The ambitious plans will look to offer new life to the 17th century building and combine local heritage with contemporary hospitality. The venue will offer quality dining and events space to residents of Wirral and beyond.
The restaurant menu will focus on a marriage of traditional British gastropub grub and European cuisine. The kitchen team, chosen to execute the group’s commitment to quality, will craft a daily-changing menu to incorporate the finest local and seasonal produce.
From British gastropub staples to the Nelson family’s famous handcrafted pies and oven-fired artisan pizzas; there will be a dish for every taste on offer.
The gastropub's interior will feature rich tones and comfortable furnishings, whilst the charm of the English country garden will be channelled in the airy conservatory. In keeping with the group's dog-friendly offerings, four-legged friends will be as welcome in the new pub as their owners and catered for with their very own dog menu.
The Manor's wedding barn will offer an intimate setting for guests tying the knot, blending rustic charm with contemporary elegance. The barn will offer a countryside backdrop for memorable weddings, framed with impressive timber and illuminated by beaded chandeliers.
Director of Nelson Hotels & Inns, Andrew Nelson says: “After many months of planning, we are thrilled to finally announce the latest venue in the Nelson Hotels & Inns collection.
"We are excited to share our tried and tested recipe of high-quality food, drink and service with Greasby and are really looking forward to welcoming guests from near and far to see what we have in store.”
The company hopes to marry quality and comfort with warm hospitality to make the property a go-to destination for weddings across the region.
