A new Lego Star Wars set featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu is coming in to land this May 4 (AKA Star Wars Day), but fans will have to clear space on their shelf; it's massive.
Although Mando and Baby Yoda are getting their famed Razor Crest spaceship back for the upcoming movie, the latest Lego Star Wars set takes a moment to celebrate what came before – the pair's sleek N1 Starfighter, which they used throughout season 3 of the show alongside The Book of Boba Fett. However, this isn't a smaller model for both display and play like many of the best Lego sets; it's an Ultimate Collector Series figure with nearly 2K pieces, designed to be shown off in pride of place on your shelf.
As an Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) kit like the Lego UCS AT-ST, the Lego Mandalorian's N1 Starfighter isn't a trifling thing. It weighs in at 1,809 pieces and measures 26.5in long from tip to tail. That means it's got room for a whole lot more detail than you would normally get from an average playset, displaying the exposed engine parts and various greebly bits in exquisite detail.
While it isn't minifigure-scale (it's bigger), you do still get a couple of minifigs in the set to stand on a display plaque beside the build: Mando and Grogu themselves.

The kit will become available on May 4, but if you're part of the (free) Lego Insider program, you can get access from May 1. Because this is basically Lego's sign-in system that requires next to no effort, I'd absolutely recommend grabbing that. The N1 is almost certainly going to be popular, after all, and I can see it going on backorder before long. If you want to secure a copy without having to wait, I'd suggest diving in sooner than later.
