What began as a digital connection on Tinder in New Jersey turned into a federal criminal case, exposing an alleged murder-for-hire plot born out of a bitter breakup.
According to People, the alleged plot stemmed from a relationship that had long been troubled. Jaclyn Diiorio, who worked as a hairstylist and colorist at a local salon, originally met her ex-boyfriend, Matthew O’Hanlon, when she served as his barber. The relationship eventually deteriorated, with legal trouble following. Court records indicate that Diiorio filed a temporary restraining order against O’Hanlon in August 2024, which was later dropped.
