A new bar with private pool tables has opened inside a popular Liverpool venue, for groups to book for private hire.
Jack’s Bar, inside Scruffy Murphy's on Harrington Street is now open and can accommodate up to 40 people. The group behind Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen, DWNTWN, Harrison’s Bar, Kitchen & Aparthotel and Scruffy Murphy's, opened Jack's Bar this week.
Scruffy Murphy's, which opened last summer, is a themed Irish/American Bar, situated on Harrington Street, between Castle Street and Matthew Street. The owners say the venue is all about 'live music, sports and good times'.

It has 17 screens of live sports, along with iconic retro arcade machines including Time Crisis, Wrestlefest, Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat and Sega Rally. Local artist Paul Curtis has worked with the leisure group on several occasions and has painted the new Jack's Bar in his signature style.
Nicola Leppert, Business Development Manager for AR Leisure said: “ Jack’s Bar is now open and our favourite local artist, Paul Curtis has done another great job, with images of the likes of BB King and Johnny Cash.
"With your own bar and two private pool tables the idea is for the larger groups wanting some space for themselves inside Scruffy Murphy’s to book. You can book this space by contacting us via our socials and Jack’s Bar can accommodate up to 40 people.”
