New 'inclusive' yoga studio opening in plush Edinburgh neighbourhood

A new yoga studio is set to open in Edinburgh next month - offering an inclusive environment for yogis.

Lila Yoga is opening on Bruntsfield Place, with classes run by new owners Sarah McCaffer, Moira McFarlane and Angie Lake.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Sarah McCaffer said: "We are really excited to be opening our studio in this lovely neighbourhood. We are already feeling a part of the community.

"Our aim is to offer a welcoming space for all. We will have a range of classes to suit all members of the community, from chair yoga to Power, mother and baby to teens.

"We will also be collaborating with Edinburgh Community Yoga who offer outreach and accessible yoga throughout Edinburgh."

In one update to their Instagram, a reel showcases the inside of the upcoming yoga studio, letting fans know where everything would be.

Included below, Angie talks their followers through the layout of the building, as she said: "This is studio one, with beautiful new floors, this will be a chill-out area or a cosy corner.

"Then, here's a new cloakroom, and we continue down here - ignore that room - into a brand new studio two!"

Fans raced to the comments to share their excitement at the new studio opening soon. One Instagram user wrote: "That's so much bigger than it seems from the outside!"

Another said: "Can't wait, the space looks fab!!"

And a third wrote: "Two studios that's amazing! It looks awesome!"

Lila Yoga will open officially in Edinburgh on Friday, May 19 - so you know where to go to get your daily yoga fix sometime soon.
