A new Irish food and drink festival will be coming up to Dublin City Centre this weekend just in time for St Patrick's Day celebrations.
Me Auld Flower is bound to make many foodie's dreams come true with more than 80 demos, tastings, workshops and live acts over the course of four days. The festival will run from Thursday, March 16, until Sunday, 19 March. It will be located in the historic fruit and veg market on Saint Michan's Street Dublin.
A mix of restaurants, chefs, producers, distillers, brewers and makers will be all under one roof. Gastronomes will be able to stroll around and experience "a melting pot of Irish food" from fresh oysters to charcuterie and cheese, from bacon and cabbage dumplings to a Michelin-star bowl of coddle... or pick up a bag of spuds or a steak for the grill to bring home.

Festival-goers will also have the chance to enjoy a pint, a glass of wine or work their way through the selection of Irish craft beers, drinks, whiskeys and spirits on offer with "world-class cocktails to boot". There will be many other events to experience at the festival, with multiple demos, classes, tastings and workshops on the Bastecamp and Brewcamp stages.
A host of live acts and DJs will also add cheer to the shows. Those who already have a general admission ticket to Me Auld Flower will be able to get an additional offside ticket for a private dining experience. Chef Eric Matthews will be bringing people for a trip down Dublin’s food memory lane
"Eat the head off ya" is a unique Dublin-inspired tasting menu served with drinks pairings from Neighbourhood wine. People will dine in the private area within the festival and there are only 24 spaces available for each sitting.
Taking place over St Patrick's weekend, Me Auld Flower is running in association with St Patrick's Festival, and will be the Food and Drinks HQ for the St Patrick's celebrations.
