Earlier this year, it was announced that acclaimed director Sébastien Vanicek would be directing a new Evil Dead spin-off. Just a few months later, it has been revealed that another Evil Dead film is in the works, with Francis Galluppi attached to direct. Galluppi, making his feature film debut with 'The Last Stop in Yuma County' releasing on May 10, 2024, brought the idea to Sam Raimi and Ghost House Pictures.
According to Deadline, details about the plot and other production members are yet to be disclosed. Raimi, who directed the original Evil Dead trilogy and produced recent films, praised Galluppi's storytelling skills and ability to build tension.
