A new Edinburgh bakery, selling retro school puddings, will open in time for the East weekend.
The Bald Baker will open his new business at Oxgangs Broadway in time for the school holidays.

Starting as a lockdown project at the beginning of 2021, the business has gone from strength to strength.
Initially operating as a delivery only service, the bakery is now opening a brick and mortar store later this month.
Scott Parker, who claims to be “Edinburgh’s baldest baker”, creates a variety of sweet treats and delicious snacks through his bakery.
These include traditional cinnamon buns to a play on school dinner classics such as a half and half sponge, jam and icing along with coconut school sponge.
But the boisterous baker’s talents do not end there, with Scott creating Baldi dipping boxes, cupcakes, traybakes, cake jars, brownies and many other sweet tooth delicacies.
The store was due to open before the Easter weekend but unfortunately some issues with the unit meant a slight delay.
The Bald Baker announced the opening in time for Easter on Instagram, they posted: “Bald Baker at 13 Oxgangs Broadway will officially open soon. We had a slight delay dealing with a certain company but we move on…so opening pushed back BUT at same time just in time for Easter Weekend - more details to follow. Ps swipe to see me squinting in the sun BUZZIN about finally getting my sign up.”
Those interested in Scott’s yummy bakes are still able to order from the website with the business able to deliver to Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian - with free delivery for orders over £35.
Sharing information about the business, the Bald Baker website states: “Hey, I'm Scott and I'm Edinburgh's most Baldest Baker. Here you can view and order all my homemade sweet treats.
“Pick from my range of traybakes, treat boxes, brownies to all things cupcake & special occasion ranges. Check out our instagram for all our latest products!”
It adds: “We currently deliver all across Edinburgh, East Lothian as far as Tranent & Midlothian as far as Gorebridge & Penicuik. (Postcodes we currently deliver to are between EH1 to EH26, EH33, EH34,EH35, EH37, EH32 9).
“We deliver to West Lothian every second Saturday to Postcodes EH27 to EH30 & EH52 to EH54.
“Deliveries are Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
“Collections are Thursdays and Sundays between 09:00-13:30.
“Delivery is FREE on orders over £35 or £3.45 (Our first increase in over a year by 50p as fuel is wild) if under. Collection is also FREE from EH16 (Prestonfield).
“Postal deliveries are calculated by weight and are £3.95 to £5 max!”
