EasyJet has launched a new route to Paris from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The first flight from Liverpool to Paris Charles de Gaulle took off on Sunday (October 30) evening. Flights will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays in November and on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in December - with some extra flights around Christmas.
EasyJet joins Ryanair in offering flights between Liverpool and the French capital. Ryanair offers services to Paris Beauvais on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The new route to Paris follows a number of new airlines and routes to operate from the Speke-based airport. Earlier this month, Icelandic airline PLAY began flying from Liverpool to the USA via Iceland.
German airline Lufthansa also landed at Liverpool Airport this year, operating flights to Frankfurt, from where passengers can connect with a host of destinations across the globe.
