A new mid-season trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has spoiled a pretty major plot development for Jessica Jones – and fans aren't happy about it (spoilers ahead).
In the new clip, as Jessica appears in her signature leather jacket and some sunglasses, she tells Daredevil, "They showed up at my house with my daughter there."
The fact that Krysten Ritter's superhero-turned-PI has become a mother since we last saw her on our screens is a pretty big twist. Is Luke Cage the father? Does that mean we can expect to see another Defender join the MCU?
"You hurt?" Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear asks her. "I'm pissed," she replies. And she's not the only one.
"I’m pissed that they revealed just like that. Like why??" asked one fan.
"Spoiling that is crazy, they’ve spoiled a lot in these promos, we don’t need teases for each episode," said another.
"Spoiling a lot for these promos is insane," wrote someone else.
Jessica Jones hasn't made an appearance in the show just yet, so it's unclear just when we'll get to see her – or her daughter. As for who showed up at her house, that could be Mayor Fisk's Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Although if she's moved away from New York, that would be outside of Fisk's jurisdiction, so there could be a new malevolent force at play as the series progresses.
