New bridge opens between China and North Korea after 12 year wait

A new bridge connecting China and North Korea has opened after more than ten years of delay, signalling a deepening of relations between the two countries.

According to reports from China’s official Xinhua News Agency, an inauguration ceremony for the New Yalu River Bridge was conducted on Thursday morning.
