The leader of Northumberland engineering pioneer Tharsus is set to move into a different role at the group after bringing in a new CEO.
First established in 1964, Tharsus started out as a traditional back street ‘metal basher’ and had just 22 people when chief executive Brian Palmer first joined the business in the late 1990s.
Over the years it has diversified to become a leader in UK robotics, delivering innovative technology solutions to the likes of Ocado, DHL and Small Robot Co.
