A new airline route launching this summer may enable more Brits than ever to taste the Big Apple of New York. The Mirror reports Norse Atlantic Airways has opened bookings on its new flights between London Gatwick and New York JFK, and there are currently return fares from £255.
There are two cabin choices: economy and premium. Passengers can can choose light, classic and plus fares - the latter of which includes baggage allowance, two meals and flexible tickets. The daily service will begin operations on August 12, with services on the swish Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The airline says that it plans to add more US destinations, although it hasn't given a timeframe yet. As well as the new route, the company will be operating temporary flights between Gatwick and Oslo this summer, also with premium and economy cabins, and fares from £41 each way.
