The suspect charged in New York's Gilgo Beach serial killings is facing additional murder charges. It has been confirmed that the suspect, who was already charged with four murders, will now be charged with two more alleged serial killer murders in Long Island.
The new charges involve the victims Jessica Taylor and Valerie Mack. Jessica Taylor's partial remains were discovered in 2003 in a marshy area in Manorville, with additional remains found in 2011. Valerie Mack's remains were found in 2000 in the same area, with more remains discovered in 2011. Both women were sex workers, and the connection between them and the suspect through forensics is currently unknown.
Previous investigations revealed that the suspect used sex worker ads, burner phones, and cell phone tower pings to target his victims in the Massapequa area before their disappearances. The new charges indicate that the suspect may have started killing victims much earlier than previously believed, as the other four victims were believed to have been killed between 2007 and 2010.
One significant aspect of the new developments is the discovery of body parts, suggesting the possibility of dismemberment. This raises questions about whether the suspect's modus operandi evolved over time or if there were different methods used in the earlier killings.
