New Celtic signing Marco Tilio has paid an emotional farewell to Melbourne City telling how the club made him a 'better person'.
The latest Aussie arrival at Celtic Park has reflected on his three years at the A-League club. Tilio was an integral part of Melbourne's record-breaking three-in-a-row Premiership triumph and 20 goals in 86 appearances for the club, with nine of those coming last season.
Brendan Rodgers secured the services of the Australian international last week making Tilio is second summer signing after the 21-year-old followed Odin Thiago Holm in the door at Parkhead. Tilio can play as both a winger and a striker and will bolster the ranks adding to the threats of Kyogo Furuhashio, Daizen Maeda and Oh Hyeon-gyu up top.

"I can’t thank everyone enough who have been a part of the club, making history and memories over this time some I’ll never forget. I’m honoured to have represented this club and in my time here i was able to grow as a player and most importantly a better person, it’s been incredible.
He added: "I want to thank all my teammates, the coaches and staff, also the fans who have supported me from the beginning.
"Without you none of this would’ve been possible."
