New bus service will link Livingston with Glasgow and Edinburgh airports

Scottish Citylink has launched a new coach route linking Livingston with Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports.

From this week the new Service 902 will operate hourly, connecting Harthill, Heartlands, Glasgow, Livingston and Edinburgh Airport.

The route will also tak ein connecting Airdrie, Coatbridge, and Chapelhall and provides an important replacement links for local bus services that have been withdrawn in recent years.

Scottish Citylink operations director Simone Smith said: “This new route is great news for our customers between Livingston and Monklands and Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport and we’re delighted to be introducing another affordable, high quality travel option to our network.

“This service will provide an important transport link for local people and we look forward to welcoming our customers on board.”

Tickets are available now and can be booked online.

The hourly service will take an hour and 15 minutes to get between Livingston and Glasgow and 22 minutes between Livingston

Covid-19 secure measures on the Scottish Citylink coach network include a continued enhanced cleaning regime, anti-bacterial stations on board all coaches, protective equipment in place for all drivers, and increased filter changing schedules on air conditioning units.
