The heads of two of Australia's clean energy agencies have been reappointed for another term by the federal government.
Investment banker and former ABC director Steven Skala was first appointed chair of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation in 2017 and has now been reappointed for another five years.
Environmental investor Justin Punch has been reappointed for another two-year term as chair of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency.
The government also announced two new board members for the CEFC, David Jones and Matt Howell, who replace two outgoing members.
Mr Jones is an executive director of global fund manager VGI Partners, while Mr Howell is the head of Australia's largest aluminium smelter, Tomago Aluminum.
The renewable energy agency will also receive a new board member after the government announced the appointment of Elizabeth O'Leary.
Ms O'Leary is head of agriculture natural assets, one of the world's largest private land managers, at Macquarie Asset Management.
The announcements are the latest in a string of last-minute government appointments before a federal election is called.
