A new app has been launched as part of a £500,000 campaign to support Newcastle's neighbourhoods and high streets recover from the pandemic.
The Geordie Street App is part of the WeAreNewcastle campaign, which aims to help local areas stimulate their economic development by delivering projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.
The app has been designed for businesses to reach new customers and promote their deals and discounts, and offer services such as click and collect in eight neighbourhoods across the city's suburbs. Residents can download the app for free and they can find up to date information on where to go and what is on offer in each area.
