Kirk Cousins hilariously celebrated the win over his former team Washington Commanders by taking his top off and wearing his teammate's jewellery on a private jet home to Minnesota after the win in the nation's capital.
Cousins, who is clearly much-loved by his Vikings teammates, performed well in the victory, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns with one interception - which came on an impressive throw to Justin Jefferson who was unable to haul it in, deflecting into the arms of Danny Johnson - as the Vikings moved to second place in the NFC.
It was the Vikings sixth straight win as they go into the halfway point of the season looking like a real contender alongside the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the NFC, and Cousins certainly enjoyed the win against his former team.
Cousins spent six years in Washington, three of those coming as the back-up for former Heisman Trophy winner and second-overall draft-pick in 2012 Robert Griffin III. After three impressive seasons with Washington, Cousins chose to join the Vikings in 2018 and has gone on perform well at just above a league-average level throughout his time in Minnesota.
However, he was yet to face his former team in Washington since leaving, getting his first chance to do so this past Sunday.
The Vikings did well offensively, but were unable to put more than seven points on the board until the final quarter, when Cousins lead a touchdown drive on a pass to Dalvin Cook to seal the victory.
On the plane journey home, Cousins was recorded donning his teammates jewellery and going topless in a hilarious celebration of the win, with his teammates clearly enjoying themselves and their quarterback.
With music on in the background on the private jet, Cousins was dancing along with his teammates and laughing whilst wearing multiple chains.
The Vikings are now set for their biggest test of the season this upcoming weekend when they face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
After coming off the back of a loss, the Bills will be extra motivated to defeat the high-flying Vikings, in order to keep pace with the AFC North with the New York Jets, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins all having winning records.
