A huge new McDonald’s is set to open in Merseyside next month.
Fast food giant McDonald’s is opening on Old Meadow Road in Maghull after local franchisee Mark Blundell made a “significant investment”. The restaurant will be open 24/7 for dine-in, takeaway, Drive-Thru, delivery services and Click & Serve.
The new restaurant will create more than 100 new full and part-time jobs for the local community. The new restaurant will feature table service, self-ordering kiosks, an outside patio area with a children’s play area and a drive thru with Smart Digital Drive-Thru menu boards.

Franchisee Mark Blundell who operates 13 restaurants in Liverpool, said: “We are delighted to be opening another brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in Liverpool and can’t wait to see local Maghull customers, both new and old, enjoy our services on offer. People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create. We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality.”
The Maghull restaurant will feature McDonald’s ‘Convenience of the Future’ revamp programme, which includes a number of key innovations. These include a front counter redesign to create specific areas for different sales channels, a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance, a new kitchen design, improved car park layout and improved break spaces.
