The new £17.5 million East Calder Primary School will be built next to the existing school, it has been announced.
West Lothian Council’s executive approved plans for this development in Langton Road, East Calder. The current school building is not suitable for the future education needs because of issues including accessibility and sustainability.
A successful bid was made to the Learning Estate Investment Programme, which is jointly funded by Scottish and Local Government, and will pay for the delivery of a replacement school.
