Kolkata: RG Kar victim's mother Ratna Debnath on Monday said she was not bothered by the fact that her name was not included in the council of ministers, and asserted that she would continue to serve the people of West Bengal as a legislator.
Debnath, whose daughter was raped and murdered on the premises of RG Kar Medical College in August 2024, leading to widespread protests across the state, said her entry to politics was driven by her demand for justice for her daughter and not for any position or power.
