The Nevada Secretary of State, Francisco V. Aguilar, has reported that the number of ballots cast in the state so far has surpassed the total number of votes in the 2020 election. This significant voter turnout indicates a high level of civic engagement and interest in the current election.
Aguilar mentioned that the total count of early voting and mail-in ballots will be the first set of results to be released to the public. These results are expected to be made available once the polls close at 7 p.m. local time. However, the voting process will continue until everyone who is in line has had the opportunity to cast their vote.
