Probably most of you will agree that true friendships are very rare to find and they last not because of easy circumstances, but usually because of what they had to overcome in truly challenging times.
Two very different dogs, Gigi, a 1-year-old Chihuahua, and her big sister Karma, a 5-year-old American bulldog, had a chance to experience that for themselves when, after being rescued from the same home, they created the most supportive and special bond in the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) shelter.
