American rapper Macklemore announced his Free Palestine tour on Thursday, 24 September, with shows scheduled in Dublin, Paris and London in October 2026. The announcement came after he was removed from the remaining U.S. leg of Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour, prompting online speculation that the new concerts could also generate publicity for the rapper.
Macklemore, whose birth name is Ben Haggerty, said proceeds from the tour would benefit 12 organisations supporting Palestinians. The groups work across humanitarian aid, medical care, education, community support, advocacy, organising and media. U.S. dates and additional performers are expected to be announced later.
