Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown has heaped praise on her Liverpool hero.
The 18-year-old has skyrocketed to fame with her portrayal of Eleven in the hit Netflix show. The actress has taken a lie detector test for Vanity Fair when she addressed her love for Liverpool FC.
The presenter asked if Millie wished people would stop making 11 jokes at her when she revealed she wished she would be associated with the number eight instead. She added: "It's the number of my favourite soccer team player. Steven Gerrard."

Millie is a prominent Liverpool FC supporter and has previously told the club's official website about how she fell in love with the team because of the legendary captain. She said: "My family have been big supporters and fans since I was very young.
"So I started to love them gradually and watching the games to kind of understand what everyone was doing, and my brother was a big part of that. He started telling me about Steven Gerrard when he was playing and I started falling in love. So it was a big moment in my life."
Millie grew up in Bournemouth, but she holds a close place in her heart for Merseyside. The actress has appeared on an episode of YouTube talk show Hot Ones and told host Sean Evans she would like to see the Scouse accent get more coverage in Hollywood.
She said: "I love a Liverpudlian accent. I can't do the accent so don't ask me but I support the football team."
