Netflix series Snowflake Mountain sees 'clueless kidults' take on brutal bootcamp

Netflix have finally released a trailer for upcoming reality series Snowflake Mountain, and it looks set to be full of drama.

Snowflake Mountain is a funny, warm-hearted reality show which takes a bunch of 'clueless kidults' who aren’t yet living to their full potential and puts them through their paces at a wilderness survival retreat to try and kickstart them into standing on their own two feet.

The back-to-basics camp is a rude awakening to just how pampered their lives have been so far, and at the end of it there's a transformative cash prize for one lucky winner.

There’s no running water, no parents to wait on them, and, worst of all, no Wi-Fi. But, by connecting to nature, they’ll learn to graduate as fully-functioning adults.

The two-minute long trailer begins with one of the contestants announcing: "I need my foundation. I need my lip gloss. I need my highlight and my contour."

Another one admits: "This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me in my whole life," as a voiceover announces: "Snowflake: A young person who is considered overly emotional, easily offended, and dramatic."

The 10 contestants are all in their twenties, with their ages ranging from 20 up to 26 and judging by the clip, it seems they had no idea just how tough bootcamp was going to be.

Putting them through their paces is Joel and Matt - one a former Army Combat Engineer for almost 10 years and the other, a former member of the Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal.

"Now, me and Matt, who survived off the land our whole lives, are gonna take these kids back to basics," Joel explains.

"Why? Cause the wilderness forces you to toughen up! Are they gonna rise to the challenge or are they are gonna do what they do best? It's not gonna be easy!"

"We're actually nice guys!" Joel and Matt are heard telling the group, as one contestant moans: "No you're not!" as another describes it as feeling "borderline abusive".

Snowflake Mountain will land on Netflix on Wednesday 22 June, 2022.
