Netflix fans were left divided after the streaming service unveiled a rebrand on Tuesday, June 20. The platform's UK and Ireland Twitter account was renamed Streamberry, complete with a new profile photo.
Announcing the change, the account tweeted: "Welcome to Streamberry. #NewProfilePic". It's a reference to the streaming service which features in the first episode of the new Black Mirror series, Joan Is Awful.
In the episode, ordinary girl Joan discovers her life is being used as a drama series on Streamberry - something she agreed to without realising after not reading the platform's terms and conditions. The episode spooked fans, with many vowing to read the terms and conditions from now on.

In a follow up tweet on Tuesday, the account shared a link to a website where you can 'sign up' for Streamberry. The tweet read: "Join the Streamberry family today! #YouAreAwful", with the site asking users to enter their names and post a photo before creating a personalised poster.
There are also, unsurprisingly, a few pages of terms and conditions which you must agree to. Responding to the rebrand, some fans were creeped out - while others had no idea what was going on.
@brwncp asked: "Which reality of Joan Is Awful are we living in??" while @lilymneves requested: "I want Annie Murphy to play me". @thisisqueerly added: "Read the terms & conditions," @PCE_Deadmeat joked: "Please send Ts&Cs for my lawyer to review. Thanks," and @le_gazman said: "I know how this ends".
Other concerned fans thought Netflix had been hacked. @bonsoirryan asked: "what the hell is happening" and @obxpog said: "think netflix got hacked". @otic_o wrote: "Netflix scream if you need help" and @Lylalovescats asked: "Did u get hacked?"
Black Mirror Series 6 is now available to stream on Netflix.
