It’s been a pretty underwhelming year so far for new Netflix movies. While there have been sporadic highs, like “Hit Man” with Glen Powell, there's been a rather overwhelming amount of lows with Netflix serving up subscribers subpar films, including “Lift”, “The Union”, “Irish Wish”, “Rebel Moon - Part Two” and more.
Fortunately, the second half of the year tends to be when the streaming service releases its biggest movies, including the flicks it believes have awards potential. And that looks to be the case in 2024. As we head into the fall, Netflix has confirmed streaming dates for some of its most high-profile original movies still to come.
