Netflix axes Stranger Things star’s latest movie

  • Netflix has cancelled the film Perfect, which was set to star Millie Bobby Brown as Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug.

  • Despite this cancellation, Brown has several other projects with Netflix, including a third Enola Holmes film, the rom-com Just Picture It and Nineteen Steps, an adaptation of her debut novel.
  • Her novel, Nineteen Steps, inspired by her grandmother's experience in the Bethnal Green tube disaster, previously faced controversy over its ghostwritten nature.
