- Netflix has cancelled the film Perfect, which was set to star Millie Bobby Brown as Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug.
- Brown, 22, reportedly exited the project due to creative differences, leading to the streaming giant scrapping the film.
- The movie would have depicted Kerri Strug, a member of the 1996 “Magnificent Seven” USA gymnastics team, who famously performed a vault on an injured ankle to secure a gold medal.
- Despite this cancellation, Brown has several other projects with Netflix, including a third Enola Holmes film, the rom-com Just Picture It and Nineteen Steps, an adaptation of her debut novel.
- Her novel, Nineteen Steps, inspired by her grandmother's experience in the Bethnal Green tube disaster, previously faced controversy over its ghostwritten nature.
