Uncharted (July 15) - Netflix

Starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, Uncharted is largely inspired by a gaming franchise of the same name. In the film, a treasure hunter recruits a young man to help him recover a 500-year-old lost fortune. What starts out as a heist becomes an action packed thriller well worth a watch.

Umma (July 16) - Netflix

Not one to watch if you're not into the more frightening films, Umma follows the story of an unassuming woman who lives a quiet life on an American farm. That is until the remains of her mother arrive at her house from Korea. A gripping film, with a chilling story.

The Gray Man (July 22) - Netflix

For some, hearing Ryan Gosling is the main character will be enough to give this one a watch. The CIA's top asset, who's identity is unknown, accidentally learns of agency secrets, he triggers a global manhunt and becomes the primary target for his former ex-colleague and various international assassins.

Anything's possible (July 22) - Amazon Prime

If you're a fan of a love story, this one's for you. The story follows a boy who asks a transgender girl out at his school, and the drama that followed the couple as a result. A really powerful and heart-warming film, with a talented cast, including Eva Reign and Abubkar Ali.

Paper Girls (July 29) - Amazon Prime

Based on a series of comics by Brian K. Vaughn, Paper girls follows four teenage girls in the 1980's who are involved in a war between rival time travellers from the future who aren't sure whether to use their time travelling powers to influence the future. One for the creative minded.
