Here are your Manchester United evening headlines for Sunday, April 3.
Matic disagrees with Shaw comments
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has disagreed with Luke Shaw's claims about his enjoyment of international duty over football at club level.
The England left-back made a stark admission during their recent camp where he revealed that he played with a smile on his face for Gareth Southgate's side, hinting at possible unhappiness during this tough period. It comes after the former Southampton defender's difficult season at Old Trafford following a positive campaign last year.

Problems both on and off the pitch have compounded a miserable term for United which saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked and a number of reports of discontent squeeze through to the media. But despite the 26-year-old's claims, Matic dispelled the notion of relief joining up with their respective countries over Ralf Rangnick's side - the 33-year-old himself retired from his duties with Serbia in 2020.
Neville slams 'depressing' United
Gary Neville has labelled Manchester United “depressing” in a damning reflection of their season after another poor showing against Leicester.
Having returned from the international break with the hunt for fourth in the Premier League still on, United failed to take advantage. Fred’s goal ensured they rescued a point after Kelechi Iheanacho opened the scoring at Old Trafford, but it could have been much worse.
It was a performance that summed up what has been a dismal season for United. With eight games remaining, their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League threaten to tamely fizzle out.
