Neil Warnock sends 'nightmare' Richarlison message as Everton unveil new kit

Here are your Everton morning headlines for Friday, July 1.

Everton and hummel unveil new home kit for 2022/23 season as club pays homage to famous crest

Everton have launched their new 2022/23 home kit which pays homage to the central element of the club’s famous crest – the iconic Prince Rupert’s Tower. The home shirt features a heat embossed tower pattern repeated across the whole jersey, contrasting against flashes of white across each side and finished with a white round neck.

For the first time, the traditional four hummel chevrons down the arms are pared back to two, allowing the striking contrast between the embroidered pattern and white side and neck detail to take centre stage. Together, the embossed pattern and white flashes create an eye-catching visual effect that is further enhanced when seen under the floodlights at Goodison Park – a celebration of the famous atmosphere of night games at The Grand Old Lady.

The back-of-neck is signed-off with famous Prince Rupert’s tower motif, which forms a strong part of Everton’s brand. The traditional white shorts are given a new twist, with the two chevrons from the jersey replicated and the hummel logo moving from the front to the back of the right leg, providing a clean, fresh look.

'Be having nightmares' - Neil Warnock makes blunt Richarlison transfer point ahead of Everton exit

A deal was thrashed out late on Wednesday night and the Brazilian is set to undertake his medical in London in the coming days. Tottenham initially offered £40m for the forward, but Everton swiftly rejected that offer.

Warnock thinks Richarlison goes to ground 'easy', but believes that will stop once Antonio Conte gets to grips with the forward.

“What doesn’t make sense is that I can’t see Daniel Levy paying £50 million, if I am honest,” said Warnock on TalkSPORT. “He must be having nightmares in bed at night. He just doesn’t spend that money.
