Neil Warnock has claimed that it would be a 'disaster' if Leeds United re-appointed Marcelo Bielsa as Jesse Marsch's successor at Elland Road.
Bielsa established an all-out-offensive style of play at Leeds during his spell in West Yorkshire and guided them to the Championship title in 2020.
Leeds ended their 16-year absence from the Premier League as a result, and marked their return to the top-flight with a ninth-place finish. However, Bielsa was sacked following a run of four straight defeats in February 2022, and has been out of work ever since.
The Argentine travelled to London to turn down the Everton job last month, and his name has inevitably been mentioned following Marsch's sacking. But ex-Leeds manager Warnock has warned that Bielsa's return is the wrong path for Leeds to go down, and even suggested that the players wanted him to leave the club during his reign.

"The only thing that they've got going forward them is that crowd," Warnock told talkSPORT. "That crowd like Everton - it's hard to play at Everton, and it's the same at Elland Road.
"If they could get somebody that just gets that physical attribute out of them. The talent will come through, they've got to win their battles first.
"That's why I think somebody from abroad, I'm not sure there's time with what's left of the season to get someone else's interpretation. [Marcelo] Bielsa would be a disaster coming back.
"I think the players were desperate for him to leave when he left so I don't think that would be the answer for them."
