Neil Lennon says Scott Brown was "revelling" in goading Ryan Kent after the Rangers winger was sent off at Pittodrie.
Footage of the Aberdeen captain waving Kent off the pitch in the closing stages of Tuesday's 1-1 draw was captured by TV cameras as a pulsating Premiership clash drew to a close.
Former Celtic boss Lennon was on punditry duty for Sky Sports News for the fixture and confessed he wasn't surprised at the former Parkhead skipper getting into the thick of the action, reports The Daily Record.
Lennon recalled "history" between Brown and Kent, with the latter copping a retrospective ban for lashing out at Brown at Celtic Park in 2019.
"Not really (surprised)," Lennon said. "He'll be enjoying this and smelling a bit of blood.
"You can see why Celtic fans love him. There's obviously a bit of history there, not just with Ryan Kent, but with a lot of players.
"Scotty is very good at the noise up.
"He'll be loving it, he'll be revelling in it. He has done for the last 10 or 15 years."
