Neil Lennon admires some of Rangers players but wouldn't pick a single one for his combined Old Firm starting XI.
The ex-Celtic boss believes that a combined starting squad of Michael Beale's men and Ange Postecoglou's side would feature none from the Light Blue camp. Pundits and fans from each side of the Glasgow divide have come out in favour of their respective side with more than a few pre-match jibes flying around ahead of the Hampden showpiece.
Lennon's old team are nine-points better than off than their rivals but with both still in cup competition, as Postecoglou looks to retain the trophy he first won in Glasgow while Beale wants to remain unbeaten since his arrival. The former Omonia Nicosia boss, however, says Rangers' squad just doesn't better any of Celtic's top players but that he does 'admire' some stars.

He told Football Betting: "There's no question that I like some of the current Rangers players. Ryan Kent is a handful and Alfredo Morelos is the same.
"Allan McGregor is a top goalkeeper and has been for a long time and Tavernier's goal contributions record is exemplary so there are players that I do admire - whether I'd pick them in a combined XI is another thing."
