Neighbours told to 'use blinds' to block view of house to be built 'too close'

Neighbours have been told to 'use blinds' to block the view of a house which is set to be built 'too close'.

Plans for the two and a half storey house at College Avenue in Formby are to be discussed at a meeting of Sefton’s planning committee this week. The plans were originally brought in March where objections were raised by residents living nearby, including a petition endorsed by a local councillor with dozens of signatures.

One resident, whose house would be next to the proposed development told the committee part of the building would block out the view from a study room in their home if the plans were accepted, claiming this hadn’t been considered by officers when recommending approval.
