Neighbours is confirmed to be making a shock return to TV, just months after fans were left devastated by its axe.
Many die hard viewers of the Australian soap still haven't come to terms with the fact that it's been axed after 37 years, after its UK broadcaster, Channel 5 pulled the plug, deciding it no longer had a place on its schedule.
What everyone believed would be the last ever episode of Neighbours aired in the UK and Australia at the end of July, with its closing week and finale seeing a return to Ramsey Street for the likes of Kylle Minogue and Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce, while other big names from the Aussie soap's history, including Natalie Imbruglia, Holly Valance and Delta Goodrem appearing on screen.
There was genuine sadness as credits rolled on the final episode, with a look back at the different eras and versions of Neighbours famous theme tune, as people across the world couldn't quite believe the show was ending.
