Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival is making a welcome return in October with a wide variety of indie titans and emerging music talent who will be performing at venues across the city centre.
Since launching in 2016, the festival has become a key highlight on Manchester’s events calendar and has previously featured the likes of BRIT Award winners Sam Fender, Mabel and Holly Humberstone, alongside Yungblud, The Lathums and Declan McKenna.
Neighbourhood Festival will return on October 1 with indie band The Snuts, alternative quartet Sundara Karma and local heroes Everything Everything announced as headliners for the 2022 event.

More than 100 acts will appear at the festival, including Alfie Templeman, Baby Queen, Dylan, Lauran Hibberd, Louis Dunford, Rachel Chinnouriri, Sir Chloe and Stone. The Goa Express, The Skinner Brothers, Blondes, Brooke Combe, Ten Tonnes and Grace Barr will also be performing in the city centre as part of the fest.
As per usual, gig goers will be able to enjoy the day-long festival with one wristband that allows them entry into all participating venues. This year’s Neighbourhood Festival will return to the Albert Hall, Gorilla, O2 Ritz and a number of other venues, including Bunny Jackson’s for the first time.
Neighbourhood is the latest in an exciting line-up of events scheduled to take place across the city this summer, with The Warehouse Project recently announcing the headliners who will be appearing at its 2022 opening night in August.
Other events recently announced also include a 10-week summer line-up at Joshua Brooks, which will feature the likes of Goldie and Horse Meat Disco, and the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, which returns for its 25th anniversary.
