A dad was discovered dead outside his home by his neighbour after he was attacked with acid and shot.
Dad of two Liam Smith, 38, was found dead on the pavement near his home after he had been doused in acid and shot last Thursday night (November 24). The dad was found by one of his neighbours who emerged from his home afterwards to discover the grim scene on Kilburn Drive, Wigan.
Another neighbour said the attack was "a big shock" and said he had to spend four nights at his sister's house as his own was cordoned off. The victim was attacked where he was discovered, police have confirmed.
