The protests over the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination have now reached cities outside India, with students and members of the Indian diaspora gathering in New York, London and several European cities to express solidarity with the movement demanding greater transparency and accountability in the country's examination system.
Demonstrators carried placards, raised slogans and echoed the now widely recognised slogan, "Main bhi cockroach", as they called for reforms and accountability over the alleged irregularities surrounding the medical entrance examination.
