Boston Celtics two way big man Neemias Queta took part in the Senior Celtics holiday event in Boston this week, teaching elderly Boston fans how to shoot, stretch and other basketball skills on this past Monday. The event brought together fans of the Celtics for a day of skill development and training under the guidance of the professional player.
The event featured various stations focusing on different aspects of the game, including ball handling, shooting, passing, cutting, and finishing. Queta’s coaching approach was inclusive, ensuring that every participant had the chance to explore different facets of the game. With phrases like “let’s break a sweat” echoing through the training venue, participants were pushed to challenge themselves.
The Portuguese center talked about the event, his time in Portland with the Maine Celtics and his recovery from his foot injury after the event.
