CHANDIGARH: The share of the region that accounts for 6.51% of the cumulative all-India Covid-19 deaths in children found eligible for benefits under the PM Cares for Children scheme stands at 3.83%.
The entire region – Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh – has been hit hard by the pandemic, adversely impacting the lives of thousands of families.
