NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ slide continuing with another loss to Timberwolves, 116-110

After an impressive start to the season, the Golden State Warriors have hit their first slide of the 2023-24 campaign.

After back-to-back losses to the Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors put together another cold shooting performance on the way to their third straight loss on Sunday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves showed their strong defense, limiting the Warriors to 38.5% from the field and 27.9% from beyond the arc in a 116-110 loss on Sunday evening in San Francisco.

While Steph Curry stayed hot with a 38-point performance, no other members of the Warriors scored more than 16 points (Klay Thompson). On a cold shooting night, Dario Saric and Jonathan Kuminga were the only other members of the Warriors to reach double figures in scoring. Curry, Thompson and rookie Brandon Podziemski were the only members of the Warriors to knock down multiple 3-pointers.

As Minnesota’s defense stifled the Warriors’ offense, Anthony Edwards poured in 33 points on 11-of-27 shooting from the field in the Timberwolves’ sixth straight win.

After the Warriors’ fall extended to three straight losses, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with a flurry of reactions on Sunday night. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Sunday evening on social media.
